Important update for Türkiye payroll and tax compliance:
Effective from the June 2026 taxation period, changes have been introduced to the Withholding and Premium Service Tax Returns.
Taxpayers filing through the e-Declaration system must update the Declaration Preparation Program via the “Required Programs” menu on the Digital Tax Office platform.
Following Presidential Decision No. 11344, new payment type codes have been added to the relevant sections of the return due to the revised withholding tax rates.
Payroll, HR, finance, and tax teams should ensure that the updated program and new codes are used correctly for June 2026 and subsequent periods.
