The Armed Forces Day of Azerbaijan Republic was celebrated in Uzbekistan

An event dedicated to the Armed Forces Day of Azerbaijan was held in Uzbekistan.

The event was started with national anthems of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

Colonel Samir Efendiyev, Head of the Military Attaché Office of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan, greeted the ceremony participants gathered at the reception and said that June 26 is one of the significant pages in the history of Azerbaijan – the day of the establishment of the National Army. Speaking about the establishment of the Azerbaijan Army and its strengthening, S.Efendiyev noted that today the Azerbaijani Army has a strong technical base and is equipped with the most modern weapons. The Head of the Military Attaché Office stated that at present  the state of Azerbaijan is successfully continuing international military cooperation for the sake of national and state interests.

“The 44-day Patriotic War, which ended with the Victory of Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020, left an important mark not only in the history of our country, but also in the world’s military history” – undelined S.Afandiyev, Head of the Military Attaché Office of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan.

The speakers emphasized the bravery of the Azerbaijani army noting the importance of  the conducted policy for its strengthening and development.

After the speeches, the event continued with a concert program.
