FChain Georgia at the World Bank CCDR Presentation - FCHAIN

FChain Georgia participated in the presentation of the Country Climate and Development Report (CCDR) prepared by the World Bank Group for Georgia – a strategic document outlining the country’s pathway toward sustainable economic development in the context of climate change.

The key findings and policy recommendations of the report were presented by William Hynes, Senior Economist for Climate Change at the World Bank and co-author of the report. The presentation highlighted the critical role of investments in clean energy, climate adaptation, and climate-smart agriculture, emphasizing their potential to strengthen Georgia’s productivity, competitiveness, and resilience to future economic and environmental shocks.

The event also included panel discussions with representatives from the public and private sectors, focusing on the importance of scaling climate-resilient investments and unlocking new opportunities for sustainable growth in Georgia.

For our company, participation in discussions of this nature is particularly important. As the global economic landscape increasingly integrates sustainability and climate considerations into financial decision-making, it is essential for advisory and accounting firms to remain actively engaged in these evolving frameworks.

By engaging in platforms that bring together international expertise, policymakers, and business leaders, we continue to deepen our understanding of emerging financial and investment mechanisms and strengthen our ability to support partner companies in developing resilient, responsible, and forward-looking business strategies aligned with long-term sustainable development.
