The 10th University Session of EYP Azerbaijan took place from June 17 to 20, 2025, in Baku. It gathered young people from across the country to discuss important European and global issues. Organized by the European Youth Parliament (EYP), the session aimed to develop skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork through structured debates and collaborative work.
The session began with a team-building day, where participants met their committee members and engaged in activities to build trust and communication. The following days were dedicated to committee work and General Assembly debates. Each committee focused on a specific topic and prepared a resolution proposing solutions to real-world problems. Participants acted as young policymakers, defending their proposals and responding to critiques from other delegates.
The event was supported by experienced volunteers, including chairs, organizers, and a media team, who ensured the session ran smoothly. The atmosphere encouraged learning, leadership, and open dialogue.
EYP Azerbaijan is part of a broader European network operating in over 40 countries. It provides a platform for young people to engage in democratic processes, broaden their understanding of current issues, and connect with others who share an interest in civic participation and policy-making.
The 10th University Session reflected these goals by combining serious policy discussion with personal growth and cooperation. It gave students an opportunity to actively contribute to meaningful conversations while improving their own skills and confidence.
