Tajikistan-Kazakhstan Business Forum Yields $82.1 Million in Agreements

Today, following the Tajikistan-Kazakhstan Business Forum, agreements totaling $82.1 million were inked in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, signaling a significant stride in bilateral economic collaboration.

Organized by the Tajikistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this forum served as a platform for entrepreneurs from both nations to exchange experiences and engage in bilateral negotiations. During these discussions, parties reached accords for future cooperation across sectors highlighted during the event.

This forum took place within the framework of the Fifth Jubilee Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States, scheduled for September 14-15 in Dushanbe and presided over by Tajikistan’s President, Emomali Rahmon. The forum saw participation from 15 Kazakhstani companies spanning various industries such as food production, construction, oil, chemicals, IT, and pharmaceuticals. These companies either already export goods and services to Tajikistan or have aspirations to do so in the future.

On the Tajik side, 70 representatives from leading companies actively participated in the forum. The State Unitary Enterprise “TajInvest” presented investment opportunities available in Tajikistan to the Kazakhstani counterparts, fostering cross-border economic engagement.

It is worth noting that this forum was organized by the Tajikistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Joint-Stock Company “QazTrade Center for Trade Policy Development.” The primary goal of this initiative is to further bolster trade and economic ties between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, a step towards fostering greater regional cooperation.

As Tajikistan continues to play a pivotal role in the evolving landscape of Central Asia, FCHAIN Corporation, with a presence in Tajikistan and 13 other global locations, is poised to provide critical financial and legal consultancy services to facilitate international business transactions and partnerships. We eagerly anticipate the positive outcomes of these agreements and remain committed to supporting businesses in navigating the complexities of international commerce.
