Prague, 26 September 2026 — Financial Chain Corporation (FCHAIN) Czechia was represented by Lamiya Akhundova, HR and Administration Manager, at events held in Prague on the occasion of 27 September – Remembrance Day of Azerbaijan.
The first event took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Czech Republic, bringing together members of the Azerbaijani community living in the Czech Republic.
The event opened with welcoming remarks by H.E. Yashar Aliyev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic, who addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of preserving the memory of those who lost their lives in the defense of Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War.
The gathering also provided an opportunity for members of the community to connect in an informal setting over traditional Azerbaijani tea and halva. The event concluded with a group photograph of the participants.
Among the attendees were also a number of Azerbaijani students studying in the Czech Republic. Their active participation in community and diaspora activities was a particularly positive aspect of the event, reflecting the engagement of the younger generation with Azerbaijani community life abroad.
Later that evening, a screening of “Alone Against the Enemy”, a film dedicated to the life and heroism of Azerbaijani National Hero Natig Gasimov, was held.
The film was produced using artificial intelligence technologies and tells the story of Natiq Gasimov, his courage, and his actions during the First Karabakh War. The screening was attended by Dilara Aliyeva, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan and head of Soy Production, who was involved in the production of the film.
The events provided an opportunity for members of the Azerbaijani community in the Czech Republic to come together, commemorate those who lost their lives, and reflect on an important chapter of Azerbaijan’s contemporary history.
