Kyrgyzstan-UAE Business Forum
B2B meetings were organized for domestic exporters and entrepreneurs with the participation of representatives of over 20 companies from the UAE during the work of the business forum. Ravshan Sabirov, Director of the National Investment Agency called on Emirati companies to invest in priority sectors of the Kyrgyz economy, as energy, industry, agriculture, tourism and healthcare. A number of memorandums and cooperation agreements, including contracts for the supply of meat and honey worth $11 million have been signed as a result of the business forum.
The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and the UAE signed a memorandum on the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Emirates Business Council. The Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum to expand investment and business opportunities as well.
H.E.Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri , Minister of Economy of the UAE expressed his country’s readiness to increase investment in tourism, agriculture, technology, as well as the export of local products.
The business delegation from the UAE included representatives of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, Al Foah Company, DMCC, Kanoo Group, UAE International Investors Council, Al Otaiba Enterprises LLC, the Superme Industries, Foody World Foodstuff Trading L.L.C, Jindal Saw Gulf L.L.C, AMC Overseas FZE, Corodex Industries, Module Engineering Consultant, Anorka Food Industries LLC, Ittihad International Investment and Alph 360.

Daniyar Amangeldiyev, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy discussed practical steps for expanding of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries at the meeting hold at Ala-Archa residence. The parties emphasized the importance of the activities of the Kyrgyz-Emirati Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation.
The trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE is noted to be growing at the business forum. In 2021, the trade turnover of the Kyrgyz Republic with the UAE amounted to $69.8 million and increased 4.1-fold compared to 2020. In January-March 2022, the trade turnover of the two countries amounted to $17.2 million and increased 2.6-fold compared to the same period of 2021.
