In collaboration with the Accounting Chamber and Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an international scientific-practical conference was held on September 15-16, 2023, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, under the theme “Sustainable Development. Accountability. Transparency.”
The conference witnessed participation from over 150 representatives, including prominent international organizations such as the European Federation of Accountants and Auditors (EFAA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), as well as delegates from 11 countries. These countries included Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Italy, India, and France.
The primary goal of this conference was to study international experience in the establishment of accountability and control systems. Distinguished guests who graced the event with their presence included Natiq Amirov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Accounting Chamber, Tahir Budagov, Chairman of the State Statistical Committee, and Vahid Novruzov, Chairman of the Chamber of Auditors. They warmly welcomed the attendees and shared their insights.
Before the conference, participants paid their respects to the national leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, by visiting his mausoleum. During this event, our company was represented by auditor Azad Sadikhov. The conference also provided a platform for discussing future plans and fostering collaborative relationships.
