Increase in Minimum Wage in Turkey

In a recent announcement, the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Ishikhan, revealed a significant rise in the minimum wage in Turkey. Starting from January 1, the minimum wage in the country will be set at 17,002 Turkish Lira ($579.38).

This marks a substantial increase from the current minimum wage of 11,402 Lira ($388.55). The adjustment reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing the standard of living for workers in Turkey.
