Georgia and Israel to Commence Free Trade Talks in 2024: Strengthening Bilateral Ties and Economic Collaboration

Georgia and Israel are poised to initiate negotiations on a free trade agreement between the two nations in 2024. This announcement follows a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

During his official visit to Israel, Prime Minister Garibashvili expressed satisfaction with the productive discussions held with Prime Minister Netanyahu. The leaders deliberated on a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda. Notably, they confirmed their intention to commence negotiations on a free trade agreement in the coming year.
