Changes in Legislation of Kyrgyzstan On December 4, 2021

The Law “On Amendments to the Law On Tariffs of Insurance Contributions for State Social Insurance ” comes into force On December 4, 2021.

The purpose of the Law is to equate the rates of insurance premiums for foreign citizens temporarily staying in the Kyrgyz Republic, for which employers currently pay insurance premiums in the amount of 3%, to the rates of insurance premiums established for workers who are citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the amount of 27.25%. . ”

Please pay attention to article 14.2 of the same law “Amendments and / or additions to this Law, providing for an increase in the rate of insurance premium rates, enter into force after one year from the date of official publication, unless otherwise provided by international treaties that entered into force on in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. ”

Thus, the new tariffication of insurance premiums will be applied from November 2022 for all foreigners working in Kyrgyzstan.
