On February 18, the 12th special session of the National Business Development Forum was held in Baku, jointly organized by the Caspian Energy Club and the Azerbaijan National Business Association (MİLLİ.BİZ).
The session, dedicated to the draft law “On Restructuring and Bankruptcy” was attended by more than 80 entrepreneurs, company executives, lawyers, and representatives of government agencies. During the event, extensive discussions were held on the impact of restructuring and insolvency mechanisms on business continuity, maintaining the balance between creditors and debtors, as well as the potential effects of new legal approaches on the investment climate. Abiddin Huseynov, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan, attended the session as the guest of honor.
Valid Huseynov, Deputy General Manager of FCHAIN, participated in the discussions, sharing insights on the impact of modern insolvency mechanisms on corporate governance, risk management, and the formation of a transparent business environment.
