The conference on “Accountability and transparency on the basis of Green Economy” was continued in Baku - FCHAIN

Financial Chain Corporation was represented by Fidan Sadigova, employee of Accounting Department at the international scientific-practical conference on “Accountability and transparency on the basis of Green Economy” held in Baku by organization of the Chamber of Auditors.

The main purpose of the conference was to exchange ideas and develop recommendations on a new approach to the concept of accountability in the context of Green Economy, the study and application of international experience in the field of establishing an accountability and control system that includes non-financial, environmental, social and other factors.

At the conference, reports were heard on the involvement of higher audit bodies in the assessment of climate performance, the application of International Standards of Financial Reporting, the legal basis for sustainability reporting and auditing in the European Union, and the main challenges for accountants and auditors in Green Economy.

The need to expand international relations in these areas and its realization was explained, 19 reports were heard in the field of Green Economy, social responsibility and ensuring ecological balance and useful ideas were exchanged.
