According to The Economist’s 2025 assessment, Poland ranked within the top 10 fastest-growing economies of the year. This achievement is supported by the country’s strong GDP growth and robust performance in the capital markets.
In 2025, Poland recorded an annual GDP growth of approximately 3.8%. The WIG stock index also increased by around 33.5% over the year, highlighting the steady growth trend of Polish companies.
Although the Polish stock market has not yet been fully recognized by international investors, the significant rise in the WIG index and the solid economic fundamentals of Polish companies make the country an attractive investment destination (The Economist, May 2025).
Poland stands out as one of the hottest economies of 2025, thanks to its strong economic growth and stable capital market performance. This trend underscores the country’s continued appeal to investors worldwide.
