New types of visas in Kazakhstan

 

New types of visas will appear in Kazakhstan – visas for valuable skills, investment visas and academic visa

Visa for valuable skills provides for a residence permit; a regularly updated rating of valuable skills (deficient professions and specialties) will be formed for advanced training of Kazakhstani personnel

An investment visa will give the right to a 10-year residence permit; for obtaining of investment visa, it will be necessary to invest 300 thousand US dollars in the economy of Kazakhstan at a time

Academic visa for foreign scientists and teachers, long-term (up to 10 years) will be available; this type of visa will allow obtaining a residence permit, and subsequently citizenship of Kazakhstan
