Kyrgyzstan and Slovakia agreed to eliminate double taxation

FCHAIN Kyrgyzstan office informs:

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov ratified the agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Slovakia on eliminating double taxation with respect to income taxes and preventing tax evasion, the press service of the head of Kyrgyz state reported.

The agreement ensures the elimination of double taxation and provides a guarantee that income will be taxed only in one of the contracting states. This makes Kyrgyzstan more attractive to foreign companies wishing to invest in various sectors of the economy.

The document also provides for the protection of residents of one state from discriminatory taxation in the other. Additionally, it includes measures to prevent tax evasion and abuse of the provisions of the agreement, and facilitates the mutual exchange of information between the competent authorities of the two countries to ensure its implementation.
