Human Solidarity Day

Human Solidarity Day is observed annually on December 20th and was established by the United Nations to promote unity in diversity, encourage the reduction of global inequalities, and celebrate acts of solidarity across nations and communities.
It serves as a reminder of the importance of working together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to foster a fairer, more inclusive world.
Human Solidarity is the recognition that we are all interconnected as members of the human family, sharing a responsibility to support and uplift one another. It emphasizes unity, cooperation, and empathy across social, cultural, economic, and national boundaries.
Participating in or organizing community service projects, raising awareness about global inequalities and advocating for social justice, donating to causes that support marginalized or disadvantaged groups, engaging in discussions about how to build stronger, more supportive communities etc. are the ways to observe Human Solidarity Day.
