Georgia to Double Advance Tax Ruling Fees for Businesses Starting 2027 - FCHAIN

Another service provided by Georgia’s Revenue Service is becoming more expensive for businesses.

According to a government decree, starting from January 1, 2027, the fee for obtaining an advance ruling from the tax authority will double. As a result, the cost of this service will increase to GEL 20,000 for businesses and GEL 10,000 for resident individuals.

Currently, if the service is provided within the standard timeframe established by the Tax Code – 90 days – the fee is GEL 10,000 for businesses and GEL 5,000 for resident individuals
