Georgia Launches the New "Smart Contract" Service - FCHAIN

Georgian citizens can now register as Individual Entrepreneurs (IE) completely remotely from anywhere in the world.

Georgian citizens can now register as Individual Entrepreneurs (IE) remotely, from any location worldwide. According to the Ministry of Justice, the National Agency of Public Registry has introduced a new “Smart Contract” service, making the registration process faster, simpler, and more secure.

The smart contract service is available to Georgian citizens who possess a valid national ID card or passport. To use the service, interested individuals should visit the official website of the National Agency of Public Registry, napr.gov.ge, and schedule a remote session at a time convenient for them.

The smart contract platform is also successfully used in the remote purchase of immovable property, allowing Georgian citizens, including emigrants living abroad, to acquire property in Georgia without intermediaries or powers of attorney. The National Agency of Public Registry continues to develop digital services through modern technologies and high security standards, offering public services in an even simpler, faster, and safer manner.
