Georgia is to increase business trip allowances
Georgia is to increase reimbursement for business trip expenses for budgetary and private organisations.
The decision of the government will be reflected in the resolution of the Ministry of Finance of the country.
Daily payments for business expenses in Georgia will be doubled, i.e., they will be increased from 15 to 30 lari.
The payment for foreign business trips is to be increased by about 37%. The amount of payments will be determined depending on the country and will range 45, 60 and 75 dollars per day.
Lasha Khutsishvili, Finance Minister noted the expenses for hotel accommodation would also be revised. According to the Minister despite the situation both in Georgia and outside it was changed, the norms in force in the country have not been revised for many years. So, there is a need for increase of reimbursement for business trip expenses.
