First Euroasian Economic Forum in Bishkek

The capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek hosted the first Euroasian Economic Forum from May 26 to May 27, 2022. The theme of the forum was “Euro-Asian Economic Integration in the Era of Global Changes. New Opportunities for Investment Activity”.

Akylbek Zhaparov, Chairman of the Cabinet Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Euroasian Economic Commission and over 2.500 participants from 15 countries, including Latin America and Southeast Asia, representing government bodies and business circles took part at the Forum.

Making a welcoming speech Akylbek Zhaparov, Chairman of the Cabinet Ministers of Kyrgyzstan stated that the Euro-Asian Economic Union (EAEU) was able to be transformed into a major subject in the world economy, eliminating distortions and imbalances in the world economic relations. He mentioned the importance of the Forum for the development of economic integration and implementation of effective measures and mechanisms for prompt removal of barriers, enhancing of industrial cooperation contributing to the economic growth in the region.

The subjects of six panel discussions conducted at three venues of the capital were new areas of cooperation, industry, e-commerce, energy and transport, business, and tourism within the Euroasian Economic Council.

Financial Chain Corporation was presented by Enn Raginskaya, Country Manager at the First Euroasian Economic Forum in Bishkek.
