Finance Minister Şimşek announced: A new tax package is coming, and the tax on the stock market has been postponed
Şimşek stated in a statement on X platform, “The package, which includes tax regulations aimed at increasing efficiency and fairness in taxation and reducing informal economy, will be submitted to the TBMM soon.”
The Minister mentioned that the tax proposal for the stock market will be reconsidered based on feedback received from stakeholders.
A senior economic official, recently had indicated that the draft tax on transactions in the stock and crypto markets was nearing completion.
