On December 22, the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF) organized an official event dedicated to the results of 2025. The event featured speeches by the Azerbaijan`s Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and the President of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation Mahir Mammadov, who shared insights on the past year’s achievements, international successes, and the prospects for chess development in the country.
During the event, Azerbaijani chess players who had successfully competed in international tournaments, European and World Championships, as well as individuals who contributed to the development of chess throughout the year, were recognized and awarded.
Representatives of Financial Chain Corporation (FCHAIN) also attended the event. It should be noted that FCHAIN has been collaborating with the Azerbaijan Chess Federation since 2023, and this partnership has supported a range of initiatives aimed at promoting the development of chess.
