Eurasian Economic Forum to be held in Bishkek
On May 26-27, 2022, the first Eurasian Economic Forum will be held in Bishkek. The event will be held as part of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of top officials of the EAEU member states. Earlier, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, in his address to the heads of the EAEU, outlined the priority areas and initiatives for 2022 of the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan in the union bodies including the development of effective measures and mechanisms for the prompt removal of barriers, the strengthening of industrial cooperation, ensuring food security, etc. The Eurasian Economic Union includes five countries — Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
