Starting 1 October 2026, another group of entrepreneurs in Poland will be subject to the obligation to have an active e-Delivery address (e-Doręczenia).
Who does this apply to?
The 1 October 2026 deadline primarily applies to entrepreneurs registered in CEIDG by 31 December 2024. They must have an active e-Delivery address by this date.
For businesses registered in the National Court Register (KRS) from 1 January 2025, the e-Delivery address is created as part of the company registration process.
Businesses that were already registered in KRS before 1 January 2025 have been subject to the obligation since 1 April 2025.
What are e-Deliveries?
e-Delivery is the official electronic method of sending and receiving correspondence with public administration in Poland.
It provides legally recognised confirmation of sending and receiving electronic correspondence and is designed to serve as the digital equivalent of registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt.
Important: Creating an address is not enough
The e-Delivery mailbox must also be activated. Once activated, the address is entered into the Database of Electronic Addresses (BAE).
Official correspondence delivered through e-Delivery may have legal and procedural consequences, including the start of statutory deadlines. Businesses should therefore monitor their mailbox regularly.
What should businesses do?
Businesses affected by the 1 October 2026 deadline should:
* create their e-Delivery address;
* activate the mailbox;
* establish an internal procedure for regularly checking the mailbox.
The e-Delivery address can be obtained free of charge through Biznes.gov.pl.
