NAMED THE LARGEST PAYERS OF INCOME TAX IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
The Czech Financial Authority has published a ranking of twenty companies that paid the highest amounts of income tax to the state last year (daň z příjmů právnických osob). The corresponding press release was issued by the department on Friday, June 2. It follows that the insurance company Kooperativa pojišťovna paid the most income tax – 3.319 billion CZK, the bank Česká spořitelna – 3.302 billion CZK, and the energy company ČEZ – 2.732 billion CZK. Georgia has reported an annual inflation rate of 1.5% for the period from May 2022 to May 2023, while the target rate was 3%.
