Senior Accountant

We are looking for Senior Accountant to join our team in Poland!

Your role

• Keeping the accounts of limited liability companies
• Preparation of tax settlements
• Preparation of reports for statistical purposes (GUS) and balance of payments (NBP)
• Verification of documents in terms of accounting and merit
• Signing tax returns on behalf of the client as well as statutory financial statements
• Settlement of transactions between related companies
• Independent preparation of CIT, VAT, WHT returns
• Correct month-end closing with analysis of the statement of transactions and balances and verification of the correctness of accounting account balances
• Preparation of financial statements in limited liability companies, subject to audit of the report by a certified auditor (if required)
• Cooperation with other departments of the organization in the field of accounting

What are we looking for

The candidate with:

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of English at the level of min. B2 (fluent in communication)
• Higher education (finance, accounting, taxation, economics and related)
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax laws and regulations
• Experience in preparing financial statements
• Experience in implementing / adapting to new accounting program
• Good knowledge of MS Office, including primarily MS Excel and MS Word
• Initiative and courage to take on new challenges, projects, implement improvements
• Good communication skills
