BAHRAM BAGHIRZADEH’S BOOKS ARE PUT ON SALE IN “KOSMAS” AND “ACADEMIA” BOOKSTORES OF CZECHIA

The children’s books “Baku for Children,” Shusha for Children,” “Prague for Children,” and “Christian Churches in Azerbaijan” by Bahram Baghirzadeh, a member of the Club of the Cheerful and Sharp-witted (CCS) team “Guys from Baku,” an Honoured Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic are put on sale in the Czech Republic.

The mentioned books are displayed for sale in “Kosmas” and “Academia” Bookstores in the Czech Republic, and it is another indicator of cultural bridges between Azerbaijan and Czechia. It should be noted that translation of the books into the Czech language was made by Shebnem Asadova. Thus the children of Czechia have the opportunity to get acquainted with the sights of Baku, Shusha, and Prague through Uncle Bahram’s eyes.

When visiting Prague Bahram Baghirzadeh admired the beauty of Prague, and understood why it was called the Mother of Cities, the Golden City, and the Heart and Conservatory of Europe. It inspired him to write a book about the capital of Czechia, “Prague for Children.” The author wanted the Czech children to read about their capital city and to acquaint them deeper with Prague through his book, showing them that they were not the only ones to admire and love Prague. According to Baghirzadeh, everybody who visits this beautiful city falls in love with it and wants to dedicate something to the gorgeous city. Musicians compose songs, but writers and poets write books and poems. And that is not strange at all.

“These books will become the first steps for children to begin climbing the magnificent bridge of friendship between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic” – said Bahram Baghirzadeh.
