Azerbaijan Embassy in Czech Republic Commemorates Victory Day

On November 8th, the Azerbaijan Embassy in the Czech Republic hosted a special event to mark one of the most significant days in the history of Azerbaijan – the Victory Day in the 44-day Patriotic War.

This date holds profound meaning for the Azerbaijani nation, symbolizing the remarkable victory achieved during the war, which was fought to restore the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. On this day, we pay tribute to the courageous sons and daughters of our Motherland who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure the future of our nation.

The event brought together members of the Azerbaijani community living in the Czech Republic, as well as international guests who share in the joy of Azerbaijan’s historic triumph. Financial Chain Corporation Czechia representing by Teymur Akhundov, Lamiya Akhundova and Kateryna Plis were among the distinguished guests.

In his speech, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Mr.Adish Mammadov, congratulated everyone in attendance and emphasized the importance of this day in the hearts of every Azerbaijani. He extended gratitude to those who contributed to the country’s victory, honoring the memory of the fallen heroes who gave their lives for Azerbaijan’s freedom and prosperity.

The event concluded with a photo session, capturing the spirit of unity and remembrance.
