Bahram Baghirzadeh, a member of Club of the Cheerful and Sharp-witted (CCS ) team “Guys from Baku”, an Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic, presented his book “Shusha for Children” at FCHAIN on November 28, 2022.
Mr.Baghirzadeh stated that a few million children had been born in the country who had never been to Karabagh. Then the honoured artist added:” Shusha will soon be returned to Azerbaijan, and that is why I have written a new book to prepare our children for a meeting with an extraordinary city. Reading the book, young readers will learn a lot of interesting things about Shusha, where the inhabitants created the best carpets, played a courageous chovgan game (Azerbaijani Polo, an ancient team game riding horses and competing to knock a small leather ball through the goalposts of the other team, a game is inscribed on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list and is still played), and raised beautiful Karabagh horses”.
He mentioned that all book sales proceeds would be donated to the Fund for the Support of the Valiant Azerbaijani Army, and everyone would contribute to our victory by buying the book. He advised everybody to read the book with the whole family, as all would go to Shusha very soon.
The FCHAIN staff showed an increased interest in the book and expressed an intention to buy it to support the Azerbaijani Army, and learn interesting facts about Shusha, the pearl of Karabagh.
