A meeting between the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev took place in Dushanbe.
During the negotiations, the parties expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between the two countries and emphasized its development on the basis of mutual respect.
Particular attention was paid to the prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of trade, economics and the climate agenda, including the transition to a “green economy”.
It was noted that the existing legal and contractual framework between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan covers a wide range of areas, creating conditions for the implementation of new joint projects.
The officials also emphasized the importance of further strengthening the partnership based on the effective use of the potential and resources of the two countries.
