Ceremonial Celebration of the 101st Anniversary of the Turkish Republic at the National Museum in Prague

On October 25, 2024, a ceremonial event was held at the National Museum in Prague to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic. The event was organized by the Turkish Embassy in the Czech Republic, which prepared a rich program for guests.

A key moment of the event was the speech delivered by the Turkish Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Mr.Egemen Bağış. In his address, he emphasized the significance of this day for the Turkish people, highlighting the achievements of the republic over the years and its commitment to strengthening international ties.

The ambassador also acknowledged the Czech Republic’s contribution to the development of bilateral relations, calling for further cooperation in various fields.

The event was also attended by Jiří Kozák, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, who expressed support and friendship between the two countries in his speech. He noted that the Czech Republic values cultural diversity and is open to dialogue with Türkiye, which fosters mutual understanding and collaboration.

Among the guests were members of the Financial Chain Corporation Czechia Branch, including Country Manager Teymur Akhundov, Key Account Manager Katerina Plis, and Administrative Assistant Lamiya Akhundova. Their participation highlighted the importance of business relations in enhancing the ties between Türkiye and the Czech Republic.

Following the official part of the program, guests enjoyed a musical performance by live orchestra and piano. The program created a festive atmosphere, allowing participants to appreciate the rich multicultural heritage.

The event concluded with a buffet, where attendees could mingle in a relaxed way, exchange opinions, and establish new connections. This celebration was not only a tribute to the history of the Turkish Republic but also a step toward strengthening cultural and diplomatic ties between Türkiye and the Czech Republic.
