Türkiye becomes the main investor in Georgia

In the first quarter of 2024, the highest direct foreign investment in Georgia – 42.4 million USD were transferred from Türkiye, which is 21 percent of the total foreign direct investment.

The share of the five largest investor countries is 85.5 percent of the total volume of investments.

The main direct investor countries in Georgia in the 1st quarter of 2024:

Türkiye – 42.4 million USD;
Czech Republic – 41.5 million USD;
USA – 33.7 million USD;
The Netherlands – 32.3 million USD;
Marshall Islands – 22.3 million USD;
Japan – 19.3 million USD;
China – 13.9 million USD;
Azerbaijan – 12.7 million USD;
Malta – 11.7 million USD;
Denmark – 10.2 million USD.
