The Czech Financial Authority has published a ranking of twenty companies that paid the highest amounts of income tax to the state last year (daň z příjmů právnických osob). The corresponding press release was issued by the department on Friday, June 2. It follows that the insurance company Kooperativa pojišťovna paid the most income tax – 3.319 billion CZK, the bank Česká spořitelna – 3.302 billion CZK, and the energy company ČEZ – 2.732 billion CZK. At the same time, the tax authorities emphasized that only those entities that had given their consent to the publication of these data were included in the rating.Top 20 income tax payers in the Czech Republic in 2022:
