Itinerant trade is simplified

  • business entities will be able to trade through vending machines and auto shops having registered their objects in the automated information system “K-Savdo”. No registration fee is required.
  • itinerant trade areas (excluding areas belonging to private owners)  are sold at an electronic auction through AIS “K-SAVDO” according to the layout sketch of itinerant trade.

Government authorities to report on fight against corruption

Anti-corruption agency is to publish a rating to assess anti-corruption performance in all state organizations including local government at the end of each year.

Some powers of the procurement committee have been revoked.

The procurement committee will neither check the accuracy of the data nor ban the participants from taking part in the procurement processes.

Prepayment based on a single invoice at customs

At the checkpoints of motor-cars across the state border of Uzbekistan:

Veterinary and phytosanitary agencies:– will check and execute documentations for goods through Customs Single Window Information System or integrated information systems with it;

– goods shipping documentation will not be stamped and registered;

Prepayment of all fees based on a single invoice is realized before means of transport enter the border check point.

Contracts concluding procedures have been simplified

It is cancelled:

  • Ban on acceptance of payments by commercial banks for products supplied (work performed, provided services) at the expense of third parties;
  • requirement for mandatory establishment:

– advance payments for supple of goods (performance of work, rendering services) concluded by economic entities with state shares of 50% and more;

– prepayment in contracts between procurement organizations and producers of livestock and agricultural products.
