The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic has automated the process of tax registration and the application of the special tax regime for residents of the High Technology Park (HTP) and the Creative Industries Park (CIP).
The Tax Service has integrated its information systems with those of the HTP and CIP, enabling information on taxpayers who have obtained resident status in the respective parks to be transferred electronically to the State Tax Service.
Following the granting of resident status in the CIP or HTP, the respective park administration sends an electronic notification to the State Tax Service. The information received is used to carry out the necessary procedures in the Tax Service’s information system.
Electronic transfer of information is also provided for cases where resident status in the CIP or HTP is terminated. This allows the relevant information in the Tax Service’s information system to be updated in a timely manner.
Taxpayers are no longer required to submit paper documents or applications to the tax authorities themselves. The necessary information is exchanged electronically between the information systems.
The measure is aimed at reducing the number of administrative procedures and paper-based document processing, saving taxpayers’ time, and enabling the relevant tax regime to be applied more promptly.
