Baku Boulevard once again hosted an unforgettable and high-energy sporting event. The spectacular “KidsRunFest” event was organized in our capital to mark the 5th anniversary of World Kids’ Athletics Day.
Nearly 200 young athletes tested their strength in this race, which aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among children, inspire a love for running, and discover young talents at an early stage. Children from various age groups competed in the 400, 600, 800, and 1000-meter distances, experiencing the true thrill of competition while making the most of their leisure time. It is worth noting that this festival is one of the brightest examples of the “Kids Athletics” project, which is being successfully implemented in our country in line with World Athletics’ global development strategy.
We also experienced a moment of special pride and joy during this magnificent event. In the “KIDS ATHLETICS RUN” race held on May 31, Shahram Hajiyev—a talented athlete from our officially sponsored “Star Athletics Club”—took 2nd place in the 600-meter race for the 2017-2018 age group. True to our promise before the tournament, FCHAIN rewarded our little hero with special gifts for making it to the top 3 and the podium, gladly sharing in his success.
