We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with solid knowledge of the Mongolian accounting and taxation system. The ideal candidate is capable of handling monthly and annual reporting requirements, managing payroll processes, and preparing employment-related documentation. This role involves close cooperation with clients and internal teams and requires a high level of responsibility and accuracy.

Your role

  • Maintain accounting records in compliance with Mongolian accounting standards and tax legislation.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual financial and tax reports (including VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and annual financial statements)
  • Manage payroll processing, including preparation of monthly payrolls, statutory declarations, and related documents.
  • Draft and update employment contracts, annexes, and other HR documentation.
  • Communicate with the General Taxation Authority of Mongolia (MTA), social security institutions, and other state bodies when necessary.
  • Support clients with day-to-day accounting and administrative inquiries.
  • Provide additional support within the company as required.

What are we looking for

  • Proven experience as an accountant in Mongolia.
  • Strong knowledge of Mongolian accounting (IFRS), tax (VAT, CIT), and social security regulations.
  • Experience with payroll processing and HR documentation.
  • Familiarity with accounting software used in Mongolia is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and professional attitude.
  • Fluency in Mongolian (native/fluent) and English (professional level).
